![]() Meditation Hall The "Great Room" or Meditation Hall as we like to refer to it during the retreat, has a cathedral ceiling, a pyramid wall of windows, and natural lighting. It will remain open during the entire retreat so that students can meditate whenever they like. Back jacks and comfortable chairs will be available for use and meditation cushions (zafus) will be available for purchase. We will have a chance to relax in the comfort of one of the gathering rooms. There we can hold an informal lecture/practice, relax or enjoy one of the fabulous meals created by the chef. Working fireplaces enhance the ambiance. Individual Accommodations To promote greater camaraderie, participants will stay in the spacious shared rooms of the Main Lodge. Each room is named after a bird and has very comfortable single beds (5 to 9 beds in a room). A few of the rooms even have their own outdoor decks. Bathrooms are shared. Couples’ Accommodations This year we are also offering couples accommodations for the first 6 couples that make reservations. The ‘Couples’ Lodge (otherwise known as the Treetops Lodge) has 6 very private and spacious rooms named after trees. Each room has a separate entrance, a king sized bed, and a full bathroom. A few of the rooms have sliding doors that open to your own patio and garden area.
Camping Once the 50 slots have been filled, a camping option will become available. The price for camping is the same as the base price, which includes 12 meals, snacks, and the use of bathrooms, the main lodge and all the other facilities. Pitch a tent next to the pond and enjoy being under the stars. Contact us if you are interested in camping. Note: You will need to bring your own camping equipment and tent.
